Leadership Raleigh Welcomes 25th Class

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the 25th Leadership Raleigh class is underway. Fifty-two participants have enrolled in the new class, marking the largest class in the history of the program. During the nine-month program, participants get a bird’s eye view of community issues, develop the skills necessary to assume leadership roles, and become exposed to community involvement opportunities. Leadership Raleigh is unlike other programs because it provides opportunities to meet key community leaders to discuss important issues.

“The Chamber is thrilled to have such a wonderful new group of Leadership Raleigh participants. For 24 years, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce has been helping to develop leaders through the Leadership Raleigh program. Graduates have assumed leadership roles in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and we have full confidence the new class will follow their footsteps”, noted Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Harvey Schmitt.

July 29 to August 1, 2009 - Savvy Event Designs LLC was the preferred DMC for the ACCE Annual Convention held in the Raleigh Convention Center, Raleigh NC.  This convention attracted 960 delegates from across the USA, Canada and around the world.
